Platelen Rich Plasma (PRP ) is a new approach for regeneration and faster tissue healing in many dental procedures and oral surgery, PRP esspecialy take a place in periodontology.

PRP is isolated by centrifuging the patient’s blood which contain growth factors that cause reduced bleeding, faster healing, and regeneration of soft and hard tissues.

Platelet Rich Plasma is a completely safe and harmless procedure because it uses only the patient's own blood. The process begins with the removal of blood from a patient who is placed in a centrifugal device and the red blood cells are removed from it.

The process of centrifuging the blood is quick and simple and in a few minutes we get plasma and fibrin that are used as a biological autotransplant.

Where is PRP used?

  • PRP for extraction wound: Reduced bleeding, faster healing, less discomfort and swelling
  • PRP in dental implants: PRP during implantation of dental implants causes the formation of new bone and regeneration of surrounding tissues. Prevents the occurrence of perimplantitis
  • PRP in periodontology: Growth factors found in PRP stimulate the activity of osteoblasts and angiogenesis, which are key factors in the process of tissue and bone healing and regeneration. The process of plasma application in the gingiva is performed under anesthesia
